Par 5 – Yards – Black 512 | Blue 491 | White 466 | Red 450
The wide but rising fairway is cut into the hill with 2-3 metre mounding remaining on the sides in the rough. As a reasonable length par 5, it allows the golfer a good introduction to the course presenting a welcoming feel. With a final dogleg to the right, the green is guarded by a large bunker on the right and smaller ones on the left. Being close to the highest part of the course, golfers will be able to catch tantalising glimpses of other parts of the course to anticipate their prospects.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 416 | Blue 416 | White 367 | Red 328
This downhill par 4 with a dogleg to the left is also nestled into the hill with mounding to the sides. Those golfers wishing to cut the dogleg short, will need to be wary of the fairway bunker on the left. The prudent player will use a controlled shot into the green with the downhill approach.
Par 3 – Yards – Black 214 | Blue 195 | White 182 | Red 149
This par 3 with tees elevated above the fairway and green may be somewhat deceptive to some players. Accurate judgement of distance is the key to playing this hole successfully. Large bunker systems on the right of the green are the main hazards.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 437 | Blue 403 | White 390 | Red 382
The 4th hole provides a real opportunity for better players to gain a birdie providing they can successfully carry water to the right side of the fairway. The reward for taking this higher risk tee shot is a relatively easier route onto the green.
Par 3 – Yards – Black 194 | Blue 170 | White 160 | Red 147
This par 3 is a very scenic hole with water along the right. The tree on the island in the lake is particularly enchanting. Besides water round a large part of the green, several bunkers will catch off target shots.
Par 5 – Yards – Black 553 | Blue 553 | White 519 | Red 483
A long par 5 with the fairway rising about 12 metres from tee to green. While the tee shot is fairly straightforward at first glance, thought needs to be given as to how to set up the second and approach shots. Good placement will gain a distinct advantage when going for the green which is heavily bunkered on three sides.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 472 | Blue 449 | White 425 | Red 418
The tees are nestled against the lake, but water should not be a major factor except for the most wayward tee shots. Aiming towards the right side of the fairway is likely to allow the better approach shot into the green which is protected by bunkers on the left side.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 373 | Blue 345 | White 330 | Red 322
Not a particularly long par 4, but the fairway has a sharp dogleg to the right. From the tee, the golfer should consider his options carefully. The fairway bunkers on this hole may be very much in play for most players and demand attention to accuracy.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 414 | Blue 383 | White 370 | Red 360
This hole is also cut into the hill with some mounding left, up along the sides. It is a hole where a long but accurate shot from the tee will be well rewarded. For most players approaching the green from the left will be the better option.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 419 | Blue 419 | White 395 | Red 371
Although a long Par 4, the length is eased by the downhill slope. The second shot needs to be carefully approached with some fairway bunkers to clear the visual distraction of the lake behind and below the green.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 403 | Blue 364 | White 349 | Red 336
A moderately short par 4 with the fairway rising about 10 metres. From the tee, the stronger players may be tempted to take on the fairway bunker on the right to gain a better approach shot to the green. The safer route is to go down the middle. The green is heavily guarded with some elaborate mounding.
Par 3 – Yards – Black 206 | Blue 206 | White 176 | Red 149
This is the longest par 3 on the course. Good club selection is vital here as attempts to overstretch on the tee shot are likely to end up in one of the several bunkers around the green. Balls landing short may also be trapped in sand or grassy hollows.
Par 5 – Yards – Black 525 | Blue 473 | White 455 | Red 444
Moving on to the 13th tee, the golfers pass more of the bougainvillea edging the residential areas. The tee shot needs to be a good long drive to make any chance of birdie with the added challenge of avoiding water to the left and right. The golfers will notice the transformation of landscape theme to more of the mango variety in this region. With a sharp dogleg to the right, the green approach shot will need plenty of thought.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 437 | Blue 374 | White 356 | Red 341
This hole is dominated by a spectacular banyan tree to the left of the green. The best approach is from the right providing the golfer can negotiate the fairway bunker.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 416 | Blue 387 | White 363 | Red 357
With the club house in the background, the player will be sensing the end of his round approaching. The fairway rises in elevation with distinctive landscaping to the right and substantial mounding to the left. The ideal tee shot is probably slightly left of centre to gain the best avenue to the green.
Par 5 – Yards – Black 543 | Blue 536 | White 505 | Red 480
From the tee, the golfer is faced with a distinct choice. The brave can elect to aim left and carry the water thereby reducing the distance to the green. The alternative of playing right for safety is available but with the extra difficulty of making it to the green in three shots. The second shot will also require care to negotiate fairway bunkers short of the green.
Par 3 – Yards – Black 172 | Blue 169 | White 163 | Red 128
A very picturesque hole. The green sits behind a palm lined lake in a small valley with the club house in the distance. As with most of the greens, various levels of difficulty can be set depending on placement of the flag.
Par 4 – Yards – Black 394 | Blue 363 | White 335 | Red 328
A challenging par 4 to finish and give the player something to relish afterwards. From the tee, the golfer needs to consider negotiating around a large tree to the left of the landing zone. The final approach shot to the green will be well rewarded by accuracy and good judgement of distance.
